IV sedation is an excellent option if you have high anxiety or fear of dental procedures. You may be given a mild oral sedative to help you relax enough to be able to comfortably insert an IV line into a vein in hand or arm. The IV line provides a steady flow of medication. You will be awake during your procedure and be able to respond to commands from our team, however, you will be in a state of relaxation and experience an almost amnesic effect once the procedure is over.
