Hello,
My name is Dr. Rafael Rodriguez and I wanted to introduce myself personally to you. I am the owner doctor of Jupiter Periodontics. I took over the office of Dr. Matt Rostock, a doctor for which I hold a very high regard. When working towards my profession, I had a vision of the type of dentistry I intended to practice. I pictured my office environment being, for lack of a better description, “easy”. In its essence, a relaxed tone so that communicating what I see as a dentist, is well understood by you.
Though my personal tone may be relaxed, as a Clinician, I am passionate about providing the highest quality of care, using top quality instruments, and staying current with the latest conservative techniques. I have been on both sides of the dental chair so my staff and I are sensitive to everyone’s apprehension with dentistry. I strive to be the office where my hygienists and myself will comfortably keep your mouth healthy to enjoy your favorite meals, conversations, and day-to-day activities so that you avoid preventable dental issues and never have to worry about your teeth.
I am a South Florida native who proudly attended the University of Florida for both College and Dental School. After which I decided to pursue a three-year specialty training in Periodontology at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV/VCU). During my time at MCV/VCU I attained a Masters degree in the Science of Dentistry from my research efforts in identifying the bacteria associated with Periodontal disease, served as chief resident, and lectured on Dental topics to other residents, colleagues, and dental students. I have participated in multiple charitable service trips providing Dentistry to families and people in need, both in the US and Internationally. I am a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology and remain active in local and National Dental Organizations both as a member and speaker. I am also the current (2015) President for the local North Palm Beach County Dental Society.

- Seaside Dental Study Club (local chapter of the Seattle Study Club)

When I am not in the office, you are likely to find me around town chasing my two boys. My wife and I are very proud of our children and enjoy bike rides, visiting the beach, or chasing him around the park playgrounds.
Like I said earlier, my goal is to keep things easy for you. If problems do arise, you can be assured that I will clearly let you know about what I find and what the best options are before any treatment begins. Of course, you can also take some time to look through our website to get an idea of some of our more common procedures and let me know if you have any questions about anything you read.

Jillian
Dental Hygienist
Jillian is our lead Dental Hygienist. She started her career in dentistry at the age of 19 as an orthodontic assistant. Her true calling came when she decided to advance her career as a dental hygienist. She attended the University of Maryland, Dental School where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in dental hygiene. Jillian has worked in both General Dentistry and Periodontics in Washington DC and in the Baltimore area prior to relocating to South Florida. Jillian enjoys educating patients to empower them to reach and maintain their oral health goals. She is well versed in the benefits of all periodontal therapy and is happy to work with each patient’s individual needs to find the most effective plan to improve their oral health and overall health. When Jillian is not working, she enjoys family time with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
Yuri
Surgical Dental Assistant
Yuri received her dental education at Fortis Institute and serves as the lead assistant for Dr. Rodriguez. She Enjoys all aspects of assisting the Doctor and excels at helping her patients feel comfortable and at ease. She is very knowledgeable about all procedures and is happy to answer any questions you might have. When she is not assisting the doctor, Yuri enjoys spending time with her family in her new home

Surgical Dental Assistant
Jill is our Surgical Dental Assistant. She is kind, compassionate and confident in her skills. She has many years of experience as a chair-side assistant and understands the anxiety that sometimes comes with a dental procedure. She is here to walk you through every step of the way and is committed to making sure all your questions are answered before and after your treatment. Jill’s energetic and positive energy resonates in our office and we are proud to have her on our team!
Maranda
Insurance Manager
A recent transplant from north Florida, Maranda moved to south Florida with her family in 2021. Her medical office administration experience and administration background was a great base for starting out fresh in the dental field. It is easy to spot Maranda as she is always the one smiling and greeting our patients with her inviting personality. When she’s not in the office coordinating appointments or getting your insurance benefits, she is busy spending quality time with her family. She is someone who genuinely cares for all those she works with and it is our pleasure to have her on our team!
